Record the sensor type while confirming the right side location of the front facing sensor connector. Centering is unnecessary before sensor removal when the existing sensor will be reused. Before removal detach the sensor connector then take out the sensor piece from the adapter and bearing assembly. During sensor installation you must create an alignment mark on the flush rotor flange cuff before removal to secure correct alignment. The fresh sensor you buy will have its built-in pin already installed. Keep the install pin at the sensor until the sensor completes full sensor seating. Pull the sensor into alignment with the Steering Shaft and push it into position with the bearing assembly until the connector locks into place. The sensor's front section includes a foam ring with a pin hole and a flushed rotor flange cuff along with an alignment mark. The back portion displays double d flats together with foam ring and alignment tab installation. For each sensor installation follow the alignment steps until the sensor fits entirely into position. New sensors that lack the pin need an immediate replacement with an alternative sensor.
