How to replace Knock Sensor 1 on Cadillac Escalade?

Knock Sensor 1 needs replacement by taking off first the left front wheel as well as tire. Follow the wheel well entry to move the engine wiring harness sleeve into position then disconnect the knock sensor's connection to the engine wiring harness electrical connector. Start by dismantling the knock sensor bolt (739) and subsequent removal of the knock sensor (718). Installation requires the knock sensor (718) to be positioned on the engine block then the knock sensor bolt (739) should be installed and torqued to 25 Nm (18 lb ft). Secure the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the knock sensor then guide the engine wiring harness sleeve across the electrical branch. Screw the left front wheel along with its tire back into place.
