To change the VSS (Vehicle speed Sensor) for the 4L60-E transmission, there are the instructions to disconnect the harness connector, and then disconnect the bolt and then remove the VSS and the circle seal. During installation, fit the O-ring seal on the vehicle speed sensor and apply a very thin film of transmission fluid before installing the sensor into the transmission case. Put the bolt and tighten it to 11 Nm (97 inch lbs), after that connect the wiring harness electric connection to the vehicle speed sensor. Finally, fill as necessary.
