The first step in order to replace Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor is to remove intake manifold sight shield. Next you will disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, this will be followed by the removal of MAP sensor retainer and MAP sensor. Before the new MAP Sensor is installed, lightly oil its seal with clean engine oil.
