How to Service and Repair the Hazard Warning Switch on Cadillac XLR?

The first step to replace the hazard warning switch is to take out the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Before installation you need to take out the hazard warning switch from the center air outlet. To do so you must release the switch retaining tabs at the rear of the air outlet and then pull the switch out. First position the hazard warning switch at the back of the air outlet before pushing it into place to install it. Re-place the I/P accessory trim plate afterward.
