  Start the front Door Striker replacement by elevating the door window before removing its panel. You should remove the large water deflector so you can reach the back of the door. Trace the striker placement on the door frame before unmounting both of the fasteners that secure the striker in the door's internal section. Eventually detach the striker from the door. When installing the striker position it along the door while making sure the latching pin points at the door latch before tightening fasteners onto the striker. The door lock striker's position should be aligned according to the existing marks before tightening its screws to a torque of 25 nm (18 lb ft). When the old marks are not visible to reference you should utilize an assistant to secure the outboard door panel facing directly on the quarter panel and while you tighten the striker fasteners from within the car maintain the door in a steady flush position. Secure the large water deflector behind the door after fastening it into position then replace the door panel front.
