The new bracket needs to have all remaining adhesive patch removed while you clean bolt threads with denatured alcohol to apply threadlocker gm p/n 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) properly. Secure the two caliper bracket mounting bolts into place at 175 nm (121 lb ft) torque value. Fit the Brake Pads starting with inner pad-1 and pad-2 wear indicators back in place, and slide them onto the rotor surface. First reattach both anti-rattle clips before proceeding. Set the brake caliper in place then put on the tire and wheel unit while lowering the vehicle. When the engine is off apply the brake pedal gently to around 2/3 of its range and ease up the pressure.
