How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch for the computer on Chevrolet Cavalier?

To service a coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer), turn OFF the ignition and drain coolant system at first. Remove the ECT sensor by disconnecting it and carefully backing it out. For installation, cover the threads with sealer P/N 9985253 or equivalent, and mount the ECT sensor and tighten up to 25 N.m (18.5 lb.ft.). Join the ECT sensor electrical connector and fill the engine coolant system.
