How to replace the steering knuckle on Chevrolet Cavalier?

Instead of substituting the Steering Knuckle, raise the car on a hoist and remove the tire and wheel assemblies. Next, pull apart the Tie Rod from the Steering Knuckle, and if you have abs disconnect the abs electric connector. Take out the meeting and bearing outreach, and then the three bolts and six nuts fastening the Steering Knuckle to the strut. Next, take out the lower Ball Joint off the Steering Knuckle and pull off the Steering Knuckle out of the vehicle. For installation, reposition the vehicle's Steering Knuckle back on the vehicle and fix the lower Ball Joint. Screw the three bolts and six nuts in place to attach the Steering Knuckle to the strut pulling the nuts back to a 180 nm (133 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the hub - bearing assembly, reconnect the abs electrical connector where applicable, attach the Tie Rod to the Steering Knuckle and last but not least reinstall the tire - wheel assemblies. Make sure to check the front wheel alignment once the installation is done.
