Move the rack and pinion outer Tie Rod End off the rack and pinion inner tie rod followed by discarding the inner tie rod nut. After installing a new rack and pinion inner tie rod nut thread the rack and pinion outer Tie Rod End onto the rack and pinion inner tie rod while matching the number of complete rotations recorded during removal.
