How to replace brake calipers on Chevrolet Colorado?

The brake caliper repair requires starting by removing the tire and wheel. To replace the brake caliper properly detach the brake hose from the brake caliper but keep the copper gaskets free of both components. Dismantle all copper gaskets then install new ones in their place. The end of the brake hose requires a rubber plug or similar device to stop the loss of brake fluid while keeping the system clean. Brake caliper slide pin bolts must be removed before pulling out the brake caliper from its mounting bracket. When installing the brake caliper assembly fit it onto the mounting bracket while guiding in the guide pin bolts and torque them to 40 N.m (29 lb ft). After removing rubber brake hose plugs you should install new copper gaskets and bolt the brake hose back in place while tightening the bolt to 40 N.m (29 lb ft). After completing brake system bleeding the vehicle owner must reinstall the wheel and tire before lowering the vehicle.
