How to replace the Dipstick Tube and oil level indicator on Chevrolet Colorado?

Before replacing the oil level indicator and tube you must first disconnect the fuel hoses from retainers found at the oil level indicator bracket and Intake Manifold. Draw the oil level indicator out from the tube then break the oil level indicator tube bolt free. You should extract the oil level indicator tube from its location in the engine Oil Pan. Follow the fastener notice in service precautions while installing the oil level indicator tube into the engine Oil Pan through a process requiring a light application of clean engine oil on the o-ring seal. Tighten the oil level indicator tube bolt to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) before placing the oil level indicator tube inside the tube. Soak the fuel hoses and reinstall them into the retainers located at the oil level indicator bracket and Intake Manifold.
