How to replace the Ignition Coil/Control Module on Chevrolet Equinox?

First disconnect the negative Battery Cable before starting the Ignition Coil/control module replacement procedure. The first step is to remove the injector sight shield followed by disconnecting Spark Plug Wires and recording their positions. First disconnect all the electrical connectors from the Ignition Coil/control module before using a torque wrench to remove the four bolts which hold it to the bracket. Finally extract the Ignition Coil/control module. To mount the component, set the Ignition Coil/control module onto the ignition control module bracket then screw in the 4 bolts using 4.5 nm (40 lb in) torque specs. Connect all Ignition Coil/control module electrical connectors along with Spark Plug Wires after reattaching the injector sight shield and the negative Battery Cable.
