To service and repair the Clutch Disc, set the transmission out by removing it. Next, remove the clutch cover bolts one turn at a time until the spring will press, after this take off the clutch cover and the Clutch Disc. Align the heavy side of the
Flywheel assembly with the light side of clutch cover during installation. Mount the clutch cover to the Flywheel assembly, supported by the clutch alignment arbor (J 43482). Mountaneous the clutch cover to Flywheel bolts with the indicated sequence; torque it to 24 n.m (18 lb ft). Then, de-install the clutch alignment arbor (J 43482). Excessive lubricant on the input shaft splines should also be avoided, as it should not contaminate the Clutch Disc, causing clutch shudder. Lubricate inside diameter of the bearing with saturn p/n 21005995 or an equivalent product. Finally, install transmission and bleed hydraulic system and attach the negative cable from the battery.
