    Service the Throttle Position Sensor by first turning the off ignition, and removing the tp sensor electrical connector. Remove 2 tp sensor attached screws and then remove tp sensor and its o-ring. To begin installation, first clip in the new tp sensor o-ring. When the throttle valve is in the normal closed idle state, install the tp sensor on Throttle Body assembly. Make sure to apply a thread wetting compound on the screws: loctite (R) 262, gm p/n 1052624 or its equivalent must be used. Tighten tp sensor attaching screws to 2.0n.m (18 lb in), and then reconnect the tp sensor electrical connector.
