A driver should disconnect the negative Battery Cable before replacing the Ignition Lock Cylinder. Start by removing the instrument panel cluster trim plate and insert your key to turn the Ignition Lock Cylinder into the on/run position. Angle your wrench to reach beneath the detent located at the cylinder on the ignition lock. This access point is right of the switch when looking from inside the i/p. You can easily reach the Ignition Switch by dropping it lower if you need better access. Use the key to help remove the lock cylinder from the switch before taking the key out of the cylinder.
