  A: Begin antenna cable service and repair by removing the headlining trim finish panel followed by radio and I/P compartment removal. Remove the 4 retainers that connect the antenna cable to the IP reinforcement while simultaneously disconnecting its 10 retainers that anchor to the vehicle roof. Begin by moving the antenna cable from the interior to the rear compartment and disconnecting the antenna cable from its tie assembly with the radio antenna housing. After that, remove the antenna extension cable from the vehicle body. When installing the antenna extension cable mounts directly to radio antenna housing before passing the antenna cable through the opening located in the quarter inner upper panel to reach the vehicle's interior. Totally route the antenna cable between the roof and behind the instrument panel while using 10 plastic retainers to secure it to the roof and 4 plastic retainers to fasten it to the IP reinforcement. The final step includes restoration of the I/P compartment and radio together with the headlining trim finish panel.
