To service and repair the Cruise Control Servo start by removing the Cruise Control Servo cover then seizing the accelerator control cable locknut. Next, remove the Cruise Control Servo cable bracket screw, Cruise Control Servo cable and accelerator control cable away from the Cruise Control Servo. Disengage the Cruise Control Servo electrical connection and unbolt the 3 Cruise Control Servo attachment bolts while removing the Cruise Control Servo and attached bracket from the vehicle. Subsequently, remove the four screws that came off the cruise control bracket so that the Cruise Control Servo can come out. For installation, position the Cruise Control Servo to the cruise control bracket, and install using the four screws, referring to the fastener notice. Replace the Cruise Control Servo and bracket into the vehicle and secure with the three bolts and tighten the same to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the Cruise Control Servo electrical connector then mount the Cruise Control Servo cable to the servo lever and bracket and tighten the cable bracket with one screw. Mount the accelerator control cable to the servo lever bracket and adjust the cable adjusting locknut to allow slight freedom of movement between the accelerator control cable and servo lever before tightening the accelerator cable locknut to 8 n. M (71.this shall be done whether it is pre- or post-installation. Lastly, reinstall the Cruise Control Servo cover.
