  A: You must start by using a wrench on the hexagonal Camshaft portion to line up the timing marks before rotating the camshafts for alignment. Turn the Crankshaft until the Crankshaft keyway points directly upward. Place the timing chain shoe then fasten it through two bolts (1, 2) while tightening them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). To begin installation secure the Crankshaft timing sprocket to the timing chain before setting the chain onto the camshafts timing sprockets keeping the chain links properly aligned with the marks. Secure the timing chain dampener with one bolt while applying torque to 18 nm (14 ft. Lbs.).
