How to replace the Lash Adjuster in the L92 - First Design on Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

The l92 - first design Lash Adjuster (209, 219) replacement procedure starts with removing the Cylinder Head with gasket then continuing with the Lash Adjuster guide bolt (211) removal. Extract the Lash Adjuster guides (210) while removing their respective adjusters and record original placement because the guides require the notched area to match the block locating tab. Extract the lash adjusters from their guide position before cleaning them for inspection. Place reused adjusters back into their original positions during reinstallation with each of the 4 lash guide assemblies consisting of 2 active fuel management adjusters and 2 non-active fuel management adjusters. Run clean engine oil across lash adjusters and engine block Lash Adjuster bores before putting the adjusters into position by matching the flat areas on the non-active fuel management adjusters with flat zones in the adjuster guide bores and keeping active fuel management adjusters properly positioned by placing the guide notch next to the raised area. The lash adjusters along with guide (210) go into the engine block while Lash Adjuster guide bolts (211) must be tightened to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Put back the Cylinder Head and gasket afterward.
