How to replace the Oil Pressure Switch on Chevrolet Silverado 2500?

First, before replacing the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor or Switch, remove the engine sight shield if you have to. Take out the electrical connector from the oil pressure sensor. Loosen and take out the oil pressure sensor using the Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J 41712). Put sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or a comparable product on the threads of the new oil pressure sensor. Use the Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J 41712) to put in the oil pressure sensor and turn it until the torque is 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). At the end, plug in the oil pressure sensor connector and, if it was needed, put back the engine sight shield.
