How to replace the front brake proportioning valve on Chevrolet Silverado 3500?

Before getting a new combination valve identify its tag for matching the replacement model. Start by disconnecting the combination valve electrical wire first after removing both brake lines and taking out the assembly from the vehicle. Test that the new combination valve matches the identification code of the original part. Attach the new combination valve directly to the vehicle and join the front and rear brake pipes to it according to the fastener notice before tightening each nut to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Connect the combination valve electric cable before starting the brake bleeding procedure and make sure that the valve metering rod remains pushed during the process.
