  Q: How to replace the Lash Adjuster on Chevrolet Venture?

  A: Start Lash Adjuster replacement by removing the engine left side valve Rocker Arm cover followed by the engine right side valve Rocker Arm cover. The process begins with removing the upper Intake Manifold and culminates with extraction of the lower Intake Manifold. Installments begin with the removal of valve rocker arms and pushrods before handling adjuster guide bolts and the adjuster guide. A rack system should be used to organize valve train pieces before their eventual reinstallation because it allows for correct placement. After adjuster removal clean all Lash Adjuster(s) before performing inspection. After installation the adjusters must return to their initial positions followed by the installation of both adjusters and the adjuster guide. Place valve rocker arms and pushrods back into position before installing lower Intake Manifold and then upper Intake Manifold. As the last step install both the engine right side valve Rocker Arm cover together with the engine left side valve Rocker Arm cover.
