How to replace the vacuum brake booster on GMC Jimmy?

Before replacing the vacuum booster apply the parking brake and remove the master cylinder from the vacuum booster keeping it supported while you work. Take out the check valve connection from the vacuum booster before removing the left side insulator panel. Begin by taking off the brake pedal pin retainer and proceeding with the stoplamp switch and Pushrod removal. First remove the steering column support bracket and vacuum booster nuts to detach the booster assembly with its gasket. First place the gasket and vacuum booster assembly and attach its mounting nuts while tightening them to 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Replace the steering column mount before inserting the stoplamp switch and Pushrod into the brake pedal pin while fixing the Pushrod retainer on its place. At last replace the left side panel and insulator after reinstalling the check valve at the booster and putting back the master cylinder.
