How to replace the wheel speed sensor on a 4WD on GMC Jimmy?

To replace the Wheel Speed Sensor start by raising the vehicle and removing the tire then continue with brake caliper hub and rotor. First you must free the Wheel Speed Sensor mounting clips from both the Control Arm and frame rail before disconnecting its electrical connector and unscrewing the sensor from its mounting hole. Use gentle force and direct grip to draw the sensor from its bore space effectively. Leave the stainless steel shim part permanently attached to the bearing assembly because replacing the whole bearing assembly is required to work correctly. Keep the sealing oil in the bearing from getting mixed during sensor removal. Install a new sensor into the hub and bearing with its fresh o-ring that needs light bearing grease application. Keep the bore free of moisture during installation. Turn the sensor mounting screw to 18 nm (13 ft. Lbs.) tension and then connect the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector. Secure the sensor holder onto the frame rail and Control Arm. Reassemble the hub rotor tire wheel assembly and brake caliper.
