GMC Jimmy Seat Belt Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to service the center rear seat belt on GMC Jimmy?
A: Starting the service of the center rear seat belt requires users to first fold the rear seats forward before lifting the rear seat floor filler trim panels to reach the center rear seat belt assembly. Start by removing the retaining nuts from the vehicle before you can take out the center rear seat belt assembly. When installing the center rear seat belt assembly place it in the correct position of the vehicle then fasten all retaining nuts following the Service Precautions requirements about fasteners. To finish the process secure the retaining nuts with torque to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).
