Fasten the switch with two bolts while keeping them loose. Lock in place the upper locator pin by rotating the tool until it lines up with the switch's top slot before tightening both bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Next attach the wiring harness connector to the vehicle harness before removing the tool. Install the transmission control lever onto the manual shaft while tightening its nut to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs. Torque). The final step is to finalize the vehicle drop then test the switch functionality to confirm engine start-up is limited to p (Park) and n (Neutral) settings.
