How to replace the Sway Bar Link on GMC Safari?

Start by lifting the vehicle before removing the tire and wheel. Drill out the Sway Bar Link nut combined with bolt until you can pull the combined components up through the linkage retainers toward the shaft insulators before the sway bar end can be extracted. During installation position the Sway Bar Link insulator onto the Sway Bar Link bolt before pushing the bolt downward through the sway bar. Start by installing the Sway Bar Link onto the bolt which then needs to be inserted down through the lower Control Arm. After installing the tire and wheel on the vehicle wait for it to lower then tighten the Sway Bar Link retaining nut to 17 nm (13 ft. Lbs.).
