    Q:
How to replace the Sway Bar Link on Chevrolet Astro? Posted by Customer
    A:
A person should start by lifting the vehicle before removing its tire and wheel to replace the Sway Bar Link. You can detach the Sway Bar Link by pulling the bolt upward through its retainers and insulators until the link spacer and sway bar end frees itself. The installation process requires placement of the Sway Bar Link insulator on the bolt before inserting it down through the sway bar. Install first the Sway Bar Link onto the bolt before inserting the combination down through the lower Control Arm. Before wheel reinstallation make certain that the Sway Bar Link retaining nut receives torque to 17 nm (13 ft. Lbs).

    Q:
How to service and repair the Sway Bar Link on Chevrolet K3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The vehicle service starts by lifting it high enough to set proper safety stands. Take out the six components which include link nut, link bolt and link spacer and insulators (6, 8, 10) from sway bar links to check their condition before installation. The installation procedure requires sway bar shaft insulators (6, 8, 10) to be assembled with spacer but without tightening them. The link bolt requires insertion through the sway bar shaft with 6, 8 and 10 insulators and spacer followed by the frame installation of the upper insulator. To complete the installation thread in the link nut until torque reaches 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) before dropping the car.

    Q:
How to service and repair the Sway Bar Link on GMC C2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Motorists should first raise their vehicle before supporting the rear axle before beginning Sway Bar Link service or repairs. Start by removing the Sway Bar Link nut and bolt where they secure the frame bracket before removing the Sway Bar Link nut from the ball stud and the Sway Bar Link itself. When installing the Sway Bar Link, start by attaching the link first then secure the lower link nut until its inner jam nut reaches the ball stud. After installing the Sway Bar Link nut onto the ball stud, execute it with strict compliance to the fastener notice in service precautions. Secure the Sway Bar Link nut and bolt to the frame bracket while making sure you tighten the link to frame bracket nut to 65 nm (48 ft. Lbs.) and the ball stud to sway bar nut to 65 nm (48 ft. Lbs.). Finish the installation by removing the rear axle support then dismantling safety stands while lowering the vehicle.

How to replace the Sway Bar Link on GMC Safari? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by lifting the vehicle before removing the tire and wheel. Drill out the Sway Bar Link nut combined with bolt until you can pull the combined components up through the linkage retainers toward the shaft insulators before the sway bar end can be extracted. During installation position the Sway Bar Link insulator onto the Sway Bar Link bolt before pushing the bolt downward through the sway bar. Start by installing the Sway Bar Link onto the bolt which then needs to be inserted down through the lower Control Arm. After installing the tire and wheel on the vehicle wait for it to lower then tighten the Sway Bar Link retaining nut to 17 nm (13 ft. Lbs.).
