How to replace the primary and secondary hood latch on GMC Savana 3500?

Caries out hood primary and secondary latch replacement by first lifting the hood then applying support followed by making marks on the Hood Latch location and fastener spots. The bolts securing the Hood Latch to the radiator support must be removed so you can take out the Hood Latch from this location. You need to remove the Hood Latch before you disconnect its hood release cable. The hood release cable must be connected to the Hood Latch before placing the Hood Latch onto the radiator support while avoiding bolt tightening at this point. The Hood Latch and fasteners should align with their marked positions before the user adjusts the latch for left-right movement to let the striker engage the latch. Locking height adjustments for both latch and Bumper ensure complete hood fender alignment. Complete adjustment of the Hood Latch to the radiator support and secure all bolts to a torque of 15 nm (11 lb ft). Then securely close the hood.
