How to replace the brake drum on GMC Sierra 1500?

Firstly, to replace the Brake Drum, lift and support the vehicle safely. Subsequently, take out the tire and wheel assembly. If available, remove the Brake Drum retainers. Finally remove the Brake Drum. If the brake shoes interfere with removal, retract the Brake Shoe adjuster. After simply cleaning the surface of the rear axle flange on which the new Brake Drum is to be installed, use j-42450-a (Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit). Upon install, set the drum brakes and restore the tire and wheel assembly.
