Replacing the brake pipes, always make sure to use double walled steel brake pipe to prevent brake system failure and ensure correct routing and retention of the replacement pipes by using the correct fasteners in their original positions to avoid he damage leading to personal injury. Keep a parallel clearance of 6mm (1/4 lbs.) on the brake pipes. Start by disconnecting brake pipe fittings, and brake pipe fasteners from vehicle, and after that remove brake pipe. Bend the new brake pipe to the proper fit and install it, maintaining a clearance of 19 mm (3/4 lbs.) from the moving or the vibrating parts.
