The electrical part of the truck, GMC Sonoma Mirror Switch plays a great role in easy adjustment of the side view mirror, necessary for safe and smooth drive. Over the years and especially over the years 1982 to 2005, GMC has produced various types of mirror switches for the Sonoma models, reputed for their reliability and performance. This switch that can be attached to the door allows the user to set the angles of the mirrors with ease and sharply reduces the time wasted when driving. Certain models even have these as options; power folding mirrors, which can also be operated using the very GMC Mirror Switch for a safer and a more convenient use whenever one is in a small space or area. Furthermore, luxury versions can also have electrochromic mirrors that cause the mirror to adapt to the lighting conditions in the vehicle and are comfortable both for the driver and passengers. The real world practicality that the GMC Sonoma is renowned for is supported by the Mirror Switch and its performance and safety contribution is considerable. Thus, the integration of the GMC Mirror Switch into Sonoma's car design makes it unique in the context of the automotive market, and reflects the brand's policy of increasing its quality and innovation. All in all, it would be fair to note that the GMC Sonoma Mirror Switch is not just a mere additional part; it reflects the car's tradition of GMC Sonoma and guarantees a safe and comfortable driving.

GMC Sonoma Mirror Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Change the Mirror Switch on a GMC Sonoma?
    A:
To replace the power folding outside Mirror Switch, unhook the negative cable of the battery first. Slowly lift up the leading edge of the folding outside Mirror Switch on the flat-bladed tool and remove the accessory switch panel from the arm rest by pulling-up plastic cover at the front leading edge, without breaking wires. Then, unplug the electrical connector from the power folding Mirror Switch. To install, connect the electrical connector to the power folding Mirror Switch, and install the power accessory switch mounting panel onto the armrest, with the retainers locking into place. Install the power folding Mirror Switch to the door trim panel again making sure that the retainers are locked, and finally reconnect the negative Battery Cable.
