To replace the A/C Switch for the rear auxiliary, firstly, distance the front of the console from the headliner. Then take the switch and push it rearward and pull it down to see the retaining tabs. Pull off the A/C Switch by pressing down the tabs at the rear and pulling out from the rear. Disconnect the electrical connector. For installation, plug in connecting the electrical connector and re-installing the A/C Switch in the console. After that, reinstall the console to the headliner and calibrate the a/c module actuators.

Service of the heat and A/C control assembly starts by taking off two components: instrument cluster trim plate bezel and instrument panel storage tray. The second step involves removing the inflatable restraint module switch that is currently located on the instrument panel. First remove the HVAC control assembly through the process of letting go the retaining tabs while pulling the control head out of its instrument panel carrier. The HVAC control assembly requires disconnection of its electrical connectors. The HVAC control assembly installation requires users to reattach the electrical connectors before inserting it back into position. Reattach both the inflatable restraint module switch to the instrument panel before adding the instrument panel storage tray and instrument cluster trim plate bezel. Complete the HVAC module actuator calibration following an appropriate method.

First remove the instrument cluster trim plate bezel and then the IP storage tray as preparation for control assembly heat and A/C replacement. Start by removing the inflatable restraint module switch from the instrument panel and complete installation by taking out the control assembly through the instrument panel carrier by releasing retaining tabs. Disconnect all electrical wires that connect to the control assembly. Installation begins with connecting the electrical connectors to the control assembly followed by control assembly installation. Begin installation by placing the inflatable restraint module switch in the instrument panel then add the IP storage tray after that add the instrument cluster trim plate bezel.

Start by removing the instrument cluster trim plate bezel then the instrument panel storage tray before you detach the accessory switch assembly from the instrument panel. Begin by removing the screws from the A/C switch and release the retaining tabs before carefully pulling out the control head from the instrument panel carrier. Remove all electrical cables attached to the A/C switch. Ship the A/C switch by plugging in electrical connectors before returning it to its original location. First install the accessory switch assembly to the instrument panel while making sure you use the A/C switch screws that need to be tightened to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). Reinstall both the instrument panel storage tray and instrument cluster trim plate bezel.

A repair of the A/C Switch for the front auxiliary requires first removing the console roof screw and then supporting the console to separate it from the headliner. Begin by unplugging the electrical connectors before taking out the console unit from the vehicle. Push down on the 4 tabs on the controller's back end to extract the A/C Switch from the console. Begin installation by securing the A/C Switch to the console before reattachment of the electrical connectors. Secure the console to its original headliner position using the console roof screw. Complete the hvac module actuator calibration procedure as the last step.

Disconnect the temperature and mode cables, followed by the electrical connection.
