Clean the threads of the caliper bracket bolts with denatured alcohol, apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345493, and then install the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts, tightening them to 200 N.m (148 lb ft).

Position the brake pads and retaining springs correctly, install the retaining springs, and then attach the caliper to the bracket.

Install the brake caliper guide pin bolts to the caliper bracket without tightening.
