The first step in cable replacement involves separating the accelerator cable from the throttle lever, engine cable bracket and bulkhead and accelerator pedal. Start cable installation with the bulkhead then connect it to the accelerator pedal followed by engine cable bracket before attaching to the throttle lever. Reinstall the air cleaner outlet resonator and engine cover after finishing the process.

Use pedal motion to check complete opening and shutting of the throttle while verifying smooth and boundary-free movements across full closed throttle and wide open throttle (WOT). After repairing the indicated components put back the left instrument panel insulator then install the engine cover and the air cleaner assembly.
