Guide Channel

The first step to replace the rear door Window Channel requires users to position the rear door window in its fully upward position while they remove in sequence the rear door trim panel, rear inside Door Handle, rear door speaker, and rear door water deflector. Start by disconnecting the bolt holding the rear door Window Channel to the inner door panel then draw the channel downward from its place within the upper window frame to remove it from the rear door. Insert the Window Channel into the rear door slot and direct it upward into the window frame opening. Insert and tighten the bolt that holds the rear door Window Channel to the inner door panel at 9 n.m (80 lb in). Put back all components including the rear door water deflector and rear door speaker followed by the rear inside Door Handle and the rear door trim panel.

Start by setting the rear side door window at its highest position while replacing the channel. Take off the rear door trim panel plus the rear inside Door Handle along with the rear door speaker and the water deflector. Start by unscrewing the bolt keeping the inner door panel to the run channel then lower the Window Channel from the top window frame before extracting the entire channel from the door. Insert the window run channel into the rear door and smoothly raise it inside the top window frame. Attach the bolt that keeps the rear door window run channel fixed to the door panel interior and secure it at 9 nm (80 lb in). Reconnect the rear door's water deflector, speaker, inside handle, and trim panel one by one.

The first step to replace the front door window channel will require users to take off both the front door trim panel and front door water deflector. Begin by elevating the front door window before extracting the front door weather strip which is located within the channel of the window channel. Propagating the bolt securing the bottom section of the window channel to the door inner panel permits sliding the upper channel tab out of the front door frame for window channel removal. Place the front door window channel into the door before inserting the upper window channel tab into the door window area. Insert the bolt through the bottom access point of the window channel to position it on the door inner panel before torquing it to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Install the front door window weather stripping to the window channel after using the front door deflector then set the front door trim panel in its proper position.

You must start by removing the front door trim panel to replace the front side door window channel. After that remove the front door water deflector from its location. Lift the front glass and detach the front door window weather strip from the groove underneath it. Move the bottom bolt retaining the window run channel bottom and slide the upper tab from the front door window frame to separate the channel from the door panel. Set the front door window run channel into its position then press the upper window run channel tab into the front door window frame. Install and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in) the bolt that secures the bottom of the window run channel to the door inner panel. Rejoin the weather strip to your front door window frame before you place on the water deflector and front door trim panel.

Tighten it to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
