How to replace the A/C Switch in the HVAC Control Assembly on Chevrolet Express 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the A/C Switch, start by removing the Instrument Cluster trim plate and the retaining screw of the control head from the left edge. Turn the control head and try to unlatch the tab from the right side and pull it out as far as possible to access the vacuum and electrical connectors. Remove the electrical and vacuum connectors. Connect the connectors, starting with the vacuum then the electrical ones. Turn the tab on the right side of the control head into alignment with the slot in the instrument panel then pivot the control head into position. Mount the retaining screw into the left edge of the control head and tighten it to 4 n.m (35 lb in) and then reinstall the Instrument Cluster trim.
