    To change the Brake Drum, ensure park brake is released first and then raise and support the vehicle. Take off the tire and wheel assembly, the Brake Drum following. In the process of reinstalling the Brake Drum, check with the j 41013 rotor resurfacing kit (J 41013) to clean the rust or corrosion stuck between the hub/flange matching surface and carefully clean around the circumference of braking surface on the drum. Clean the wheel hub flange with the help of the j 42450-a wheel hub resurfacing kit (J 42450-A). When installing a new Brake Drum, use denatured alcohol or an equivalent approved brake cleaner with a clean shop towel to clean the operating surface of the friction. Adjust the drum brakes, put back the Brake Drum, and the replant the tire and assembly wheel. Lastly, press the brakes a couple of times to seat and centre the brake shoes to the drum before removing the vehicle.
