    Q:
How to replace the auxiliary evaporator core on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step for replacing an auxiliary Evaporator core requires hvac module removal followed by Heater Core-auxiliary extraction. Start by removing inverted torx studs from the Evaporator block-auxiliary then extracting the backing plate attached to the Evaporator core. The technician should proceed by removing the blower motor control processor-auxiliary and following it up with the screws and hvac module-auxiliary case sump extraction. Extract the Evaporator core from the hvac module-auxiliary and then remove the foam insulator from its vicinity carefully. The correct amount of refrigerant oil should be added to the new Evaporator core-auxiliary before installing the foam insulator onto the core-auxiliary. The thermal expansion valve-auxiliary must be moved to the replacement Evaporator core-auxiliary before installing it within the rear hvac module-auxiliary. Fasten and tighten screws on the hvac module-auxiliary case sump to 2 n.m (18 lb in). The installation process begins with the blower motor control processor-auxiliary then adds the backing plate to the Evaporator core-auxiliary. The evaporation block-auxiliary along with its inverted torx studs needs to be installed while tightening these fasteners to 2 n.m (18 lb in). The last step involves the Heater Core-auxiliary installation followed by the hvac module assembly replacement then using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) to test the component fittings for leaks.

    Q:
How to replace the evaporator core in the HVAC module assembly on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
The evaporator core replacement process starts with evacuating the HVAC module assembly before unscrewing the assembly halves while accounting for screws that lie beneath the foam insulation. The HVAC module assembly needs separation before removing the evaporator core from its location and extracting the seal between the halves of the HVAC module assembly. Perform the following replacement steps starting with the positioning of the seal within the HVAC module assembly halves and adding refrigerant oil to the evaporator core during its installation when core replacement occurs. After oil addition check the refrigerant system capacities for correct oil amounts. The evaporator core installation into the HVAC module assembly should be followed by the reassembly of the module while the seal must maintain a proper position between the two case sections. The HVAC module assembly halves need to be joined through screw installation at 1.9 N.m (17 lb in) torque and then complete HVAC module assembly installation.

    Q:
How to replace the auxiliary evaporator core on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to change the auxiliary Evaporator core requires using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) to check for leaks in its component fittings. Start by taking off the Heater Core-auxiliary and afterward the inverted torx studs from the Evaporator block-auxiliary. Start the auxiliary processor installation process by removing the screws which secure the blower motor control unit followed by taking out its backing plate. Start by removing the screws belonging to the hvac module-auxiliary case sump followed by its removal. The team needs to remove the hvac module-auxiliary along with the Evaporator core-auxiliary while also removing its foam insulator. The installation process requires both the foam insulator transfer to the new Evaporator core-auxiliary along with the placement of thermal expansion valve-auxiliary on the core. Secure the rear hvac module-auxiliary with its replacement Evaporator core-auxiliary using screws which should be tightened to 2 n.m (18 lb in). You should put back the blower motor control processor-auxiliary along with the backing plate to the Evaporator core-auxiliary. The process continues with installation of the Evaporator block-auxiliary and inverted torx studs while torquing them to 2 n.m (18 lb in) before Heater Core-auxiliary placement.
