    Q:
How to replace the front door window regulator on GMC Sonoma? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin replacement of the front door Window Regulator by taking out the glass window and removing power Window Motor electrical connections if the vehicle has such an option. The next step involves removing electrical harness retainers when present together with drilling out rivets that maintain the Window Regulator's connection to the door. Move the door Window Regulator out from the door followed by removal of the power Window Motor when it exists. First install the door power Window Motor when present before adding the Window Regulator to its position. The rivet gun (J 34940) must be used to fix the Window Regulator to the door with rivets before attaching the electrical connector and installing the electrical harness retainers when present and finally putting in the window.
