First, to remove the Throttle Body assembly, remove the air cleaner resonator and disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve harness connector, the throttle position (TP) sensor harness connector, and the vacuum hoses at the Throttle Body. Then you will remove the accelerator control bracket and cables from the Throttle Body, followed by the Throttle Body attaching bolts and studs and finally take out the Throttle Body from the Intake Manifold. Ensure that you inspect the Throttle Body Gasket first and replace it, if needed, before installation. Attach the Throttle Body to the Intake Manifold, ensuring to adhere to the fastener notice in the service precautions , then secure them using the Throttle Body attaching bolts and studs while tightening them to a torque of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Refit the accelerator cable bracket and cables, connect the vacuum hoses to the Throttle Body and then reconnect the tp sensor and iac valve harness connectors. Lastly, reinstall the air cleaner resonator and check the accelerator movement by depressing and releasing the pedal fully.
