The installation process starts with intermediate shaft placement on the power steering gear stub shaft while following the information in fastener notice in service precautions. Secure the pinch bolt to the power steering gear stub shaft and fasten it tightly up to 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the left front tire followed by lowering the vehicle before installing the Steering Column.

Finish the installation by reinstalling the left front tire then lower the vehicle before placing the Steering Column.

Simultaneously install the pinch bolt onto the power steering gear stub shaft until torque reaches 47 n.m (35 lb ft). Place the intermediate steering boot back in position and fasten the intermediate shaft as well as Steering Column into place.
