    Q:
How to replace the inlet radiator hose for the 4.3L engine on Chevrolet Blazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin radiator inlet hose replacement by taking off the air cleaner outlet duct followed by draining part of the cooling system. First cut the radiator inlet hose off from its mount at the radiator support with Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185). Next reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp from the radiator and then the coolant outlet before completely removing the hose from the support. Start by joining the new radiator inlet hose to the coolant outlet using Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185). After repositioning the hose clamp you can attach the hose to the radiator before mounting it on the radiator support. Reinstallation of the air cleaner outlet duct must be followed by coolant system filling then leakage testing.

    Q:
How to replace the inlet radiator hose (4.3L) on GMC Sonoma? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before changing the radiator inlet hose for 4.3L vehicles one must remove the air cleaner outlet duct and perform partial drainage on the cooling system. You must start by disconnecting the radiator inlet hose from the radiator support with Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) before moving on to relocate the clamp from the radiator then from the coolant outlet and remove the hose completely. Secure the replacement radiator inlet hose to the coolant outlet after which you should clamp it with Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) before attaching it to the radiator also using pliers for clamping. The radiator installation requires securing the inlet hose to its support bracket followed by reconnecting the air cleaner duct and cooling system maintenance before leak inspection.
