    Q:
How to replace the Rocker Shaft Spring Kit and valve stem oil seal on Buick Terraza? Posted by Customer
    A:
You need to put the Piston at top dead center (TDC) before Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring replacement because moving the valve below could damage the cylinder. Start the process by unlocking the Spark Plug and cleaning the space around the plug before taking out the Spark Plug. Rest the valve in its position using compressed air while you put the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) through the Spark Plug port. Use a valve spring compressor (J 5892-D) while applying pressure adapter (EN-47823) along the valve spring. Put away valve spring cap tools plus valve cap, valve spring and Valve Stem Oil Seal following valve compressing. Oil the valve stem with clean engine oil and put on the correct oil seal based on its application (black for intake and brown for exhaust). Reinstall the valve spring topped by the cap. Employ the j 5892-d and en-47823 spring compressor equipment to compress the component before adding it to the assembly. Put the valve cap keys into their slots while before tightening them apply grease for extra support. Standardize the setup to match initial specifications. Breathe out the air and take out the j 22794 tool from the Spark Plug hole before putting back the Rocker Arm and Spark Plug.

    Q:
How to replace the Rocker Shaft Spring Kit and valve stem oil seal on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
In order to replace the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring, firstly, the valve Rocker Arm has to be removed. Make sure the engine has warmed up enough before loosen the spark plugs 1 or 2 turn and clean the surrounding area from dirt. Unplug the spark plugs and press the Spark Plug port adapter (J22794) into the hole of the spark plugs, connect the Air Hose to the j22794, and use a supply of compressed air to activate the valves. Compress the valve spring using a valve spring compressor j38606 and loosen valve stem keys (225) and carefully release valve spring tension with j38606. Once you remove the j38606, remove valve spring cap (224), valve spring (223), and Valve Stem Oil Seal (222). Clean the cylinder head valve spring seat and area prior to installing the new Valve Stem Oil Seal (222), valve spring (223), and value spring cap (224). Compress valve spring using the j38606 and install the valve stem keys, and grease is supposed to hold them in a firm posture in the groove of the valve stem. Carefully reduce valve spring tension with the j38606, remove, and tap the end of the valve stem the plastic-faced hammer with valve stem keys if necessary. After disconnecting the compressed air supply from the j22794, remove it out from the Spark Plug port. Hand crank the Spark Plug and tighten it to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.), and reinstall the valve Rocker Arm.

    Q:
How to address issues with the Rocker Shaft Spring Kit on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
Be certain the Piston at the working cylinder is at top dead center (TDC) before you remove the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring so the valve doesn't fall in. Begin with taking out the Spark Plug by first turning it loose and then brushing away any gunk from the Spark Plug recess. Next, remove the Rocker Arm. Insert the j 22794 (J 22794) into the Spark Plug port, then blast it with compressed air to keep the valve in place. Press the valve spring down using the j 5892-d (J 5892-D) and en-47823 (EN-47823), then take out the valve spring cap keys, the valve cap, the valve spring, and the Valve Stem Oil Seal in order. For assembly, oil the valve stem with clean engine oil, put in the Valve Stem Oil Seal, and confirm the right seals are used: black for intake, brown for exhaust. Put the valve spring and cap in place, then compress the valve spring once more with the j 5892-d (J 5892-D) and the en-47823 (EN-47823). Place the valve cap keys, putting a small amount of grease on them to help keep them in position, and confirm they are seated properly. After the air has been cleared, lift the j 22794 (J 22794) out of the Spark Plug hole, insert the Rocker Arm, and lastly put the Spark Plug back on.

    Q:
How to replace the Rocker Shaft Spring Kit and valve stem oil seal on Chevrolet Uplander? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring replacement when the Piston stands at its highest position in the working cylinder because this keeps the valve from dropping inside. Start by unscrewing the Spark Plug then clean its recess of dust before taking off the Spark Plug piece. Next, remove the Rocker Arm. Plug the Spark Plug port adapter into its regular spot and use compressed air to keep the valve where it should be. Press the valve spring into place using the valve spring compressor (J 5892-D) with valve spring compressor adapter (EN-47823) installed. Mount a valve spring compressor after removing valve spring cap keys and incrementally removing the valve cap, valve spring, and Valve Stem Oil Seal. When installing the valve stem you should apply engine oil then place the appropriate oil seal properly (use the black seal for intake and brown seal for exhaust). Install the valve spring components and pressurize the valve spring using the previous tools to its factory position. Put the valve cap keys into place and use grease to secure them if needed while confirming good engagement. Air pressure removal enables you to extract the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794). After installation put back the Rocker Arm and Spark Plug.
