Seat Switch, Front

The first step to replace the Power Seat Switch requires the removal of the switch bezel assembly from the seat assembly. Start by removing both buttons from the switch then free the tabs which maintain the seat switch to the seat bezel assembly. The electrical connection needs to be uninstalled before taking out the seat switch from the seat bezel assembly. To install the switch connect its electrical connector to the switch and reinstall the seat switch into the bezel assembly by making sure that retaining tabs are properly in place. Connect the buttons to the switch followed by installing the switch bezel assembly onto the seat assembly.

Any operation involving replacing the passenger seat adjuster and recliner switch starts with seat assembly removal and finish side panel elimination. First disconnect the electrical connector from the seat switch before inserting a small flat-bladed tool to detach the retainers while extracting the switch from the finish panel. When installing the seat switch position it onto the finish panel before pushing it to activate the retainers. The electrical connector finds its place back on the seat switch after which you can re-install the finish side panel followed by reinstalling the seat assembly.

The first step to replace the passenger seat adjuster and recliner switch is to unmount the seat assembly. The finish side panel should be removed next followed by disconnecting the electrical connector from the seat switch. You should use a flat-bladed tool to disengage retainers before pulling out the seat switch from between the finish panel components. You should insert the new seat switch into the finish panel before pressing to activate the retainers. Reconnecting the electrical connector to the seat switch should be followed by reinstalling the finish side panel which gets completed by reinstallation of the seat assembly.

Start by lifting up the front edge of the Door Lock and side window switch panel to release its front retaining clip. Then lift up the rear edge of this switch panel to free the two remaining rear retaining clips. The memory Seat Switch needs its electrical connector removed before taking it out from between the lock and Door Lock and side window switch assembly. Install the memory Seat Switch into the lock position on the Door Lock and side window switch then connect its electrical connector and reinstall the Door Lock and side window switch while fully seating both front and rear retaining clips.

The first step to replace the driver seat adjuster memory switch requires lifting up both edges of the Door Lock and side window switch panel to remove its retaining clips. Separate the memory Seat Switch electrical connector and safely extract the memory Seat Switch through the lock and Door Lock and side window switch. Installation requires inserting the memory Seat Switch into the lock and Door Lock and side window switch section before attaching the electrical connector to the memory Seat Switch. Following this, place the Door Lock and side window switch into position and verify the complete seating of both front and rear retaining clips.

The first step to change the memory Seat Switch requires lifting up on the front side of the Door Lock and side window switch to unfasten the front retaining clip followed by lifting up on the rear side of the switch panel to unfasten the two rear retaining clips. First detach the electrical connector from the memory Seat Switch then extract the memory Seat Switch from its position between the lock and Door Lock and side window switch. The installation process demands placement of the memory Seat Switch to the lock and Door Lock and side window switch followed by connector connection to the memory Seat Switch and correct installation of Door Lock and side window switch while making sure both front and rear retaining clips are securely in position.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the seat switch.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the seat switch.

Use a small flat-bladed tool to release the retainers.

Reinstall the finish panel.

First, remove the seat assembly and the finish side panel.

Connect the electrical connector to the new lumbar switch and ensure it is properly seated by installing it back into the switch bezel assembly.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch and then remove the seat switch from the seat bezel assembly.

Attach the switch bezel assembly to the seat.
