Then, take out the instrument panel cluster trim plate. To remove the switch from the plate release the retaining tabs either side, pull the switch out and disconnect the electrical connector(s) at the back of the headlamp switch. For installation, attach the electrical connector(s) to the back of the switch, snap the switch in to the plate, reinstall the instrument panel cluster trim plate, and finally reconnect the negative to Battery Cable.

You must begin by removing the instrument panel cluster trim plate before releasing the retaining tabs near the switch sides and popping out the switch from its plate. Unplug all electrical connectors that exist at the rear end of the headlamp switch unit. Installation of the switch involves attaching all electrical connectors at the switch backend then slotting the switch onto the plate structure. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate followed by reattachment of the battery negative cable.
