How to replace the pressure power steering hose on 2000 Buick Park Avenue?

The replacement process for the p/s pressure hose begins with supporting and hoisting the vehicle. Remove the steering gear heatshield and Power Steering Hose retainer bolted at the engine frame next to the gear. Complete the Power Steering Hose to steering gear connection then drain all stored power steering fluid. The power steering line must be removed from the Power Steering Pump while you remove the line from its vehicle position. Position all hoses correctly in place before installing the power steering line to the pump while tightening it to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). The power steering line must be installed at the steering gear and fastened securely with torque of 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). The retainer bolts should be tightened to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.) then place back the power steering gear heatshield. The vehicle should be lowered after which technicians should perform power steering system filling and bleeding.
