How to replace the Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2000 Chevrolet Corvette?

To change the temperture sensor, first remove the electrical connector to the (outside) ambient air temperature sensor. Next, detach the push-in retainer which holds the sensor to the RH side of lower radiator support and remove the sensor from the radiator support. For installation, the outside (ambient) air temperature sensor should be oriented with an inboard (sensor probe end) and an outboard (electrical connector end). Reinstall the sensor on the lower radiator support, fasten it using the push-in retainer and reattach the electrical connector to the sensor.
