How to replace the A/C Hose on 2000 Chevrolet Corvette?

Before starting the replacement of the Evaporator drain hose begin by removing the negative Battery Cable and then uninstalling both the battery and its battery heat shield. Remove the hvac module drain tube together with the Evaporator from the hvac module. When installing the Evaporator and hvac module drain tube position it into the module so that it touches the dash panel as depicted in the illustration then verify complete seating on the hvac module. After installing the battery heat shield and battery follow by attaching the negative Battery Cable while tightening the negative Battery Cable bolt to 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
